Well that game was exciting, wasn’t it? The Super bowl as good too.

The homers rallied late to overpower the Sac-town Kings and were able to continue a pretty impressive home court run; winning 13 of their last 14 at The Hangar since December 13th. Chris Bosh finished with a monster night posting 36 points and 11 boards while Bargs added 22 points and 8 rebounds ‘pon his left hand side’. DeMar DeRozan returned after a couple weeks sidelined with a sprained ankle as was Hedo Turkoglu after cracking his eyeball bone. Sporting a nifty ‘phantom of the opera’ facemask, Hedo put up a very solid 16 points 5 assists and 3 boards… all while fiddling with the mask about a zillion times during the game. Antoine Wright has been riding a hot streak as of late and was impressive yesterday putting down 16 points 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

Although the Raps were down by as much as seven in the forth quarter, the team was able to tighten up their defence and get some stops down the stretch on the way to outscoring the Kings 31-17 in the final ‘Q’ sealing the victory. Next up for the Raptors is a home date Wednesday against the streaking Sixers who are winners of their last four. You can catch all the action on TSN’s bastard child channel ‘the deuce’ (TSN2) at 7pm.

And then there was the other game… Orlando rallies late to beat the Celtics... what did you think I meant? Stat to read too much into… the Raptors are only five games back of Boston for the lead in the Atlantic division.

Ok… Ok… there was some football game everyone was watching (for the commercials).

Did y’all catch Lebron and Dwight making all our dunk contest dreams come true in this year’s McDonalds Super Bowl ad? The Larry Bird ending was sort of funny but a quick note to Lebron. If you say you’re going to be in the dunk contest then decline to go into the dunk contest, then decline doing a dunk contest for charity, then make a commercial doing a dunk contest... I guess it’s clear where you’re loyalties lie. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing, just keep you’re big mouth shut because you piss a lot of people off when you do shit like this.
